Freelance Programmer/Developer
We seek candidates who are highly proficient in developing Web sites and applications using server-side technologies, such as ASP/ASP.NET, JSP, PHP, ColdFusion, etc. Excellent HTML and page-layout techniques without using WYSIWYG tools are required. Candidates must have in-depth experience of JavaScript/DHTML, XML/XSL, some manner of image-editing software (i.e., ImageReady and Fireworks), and at least some database experience (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.).
Knowledge of and experience with any of the following are also desirable: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft.net (C#, VB.NET, etc.), Perl, and J2EE. Also desirable is exposure to or experience with using enterprise-level content-management solutions, such as Eprise, Interwoven, or StoryServer.
Potential candidates should have at least three to four years of professional experience developing Web sites using the software/hardware listed above. This experience should include developing Web sites from site maps/specifications documents, performing routine maintenance, planning and developing small- to medium-scale Web applications, and providing multiple technical solutions to project requests.
