PSEG Gives Gráfica the 2002 Supplier Excellence Award
Agency cited for its efficient and effective direct-mail campaigns
Chester, New Jersey (January 29, 2003) Beating out 100 competing companies that provide services to Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. (PSEG), GráficaGroup was named one of three winners of the highly competitive PSEG 2002 Supplier Excellence Award. PSEG has more than 5,000 vendors, but only 100 were nominated for the coveted award. Gráfica, the only marketing-communications agency of the trio (the other winners provide turbine technology and security services), received its award in the category of Supplier Diversity at a luncheon ceremony recently at PSEG in Newark.
The PSEG award evaluation committee cited Gráfica for its ability to provide marketing-communications work of the highest quality that continually helps PSEG drive sales and reduce marketing-communications costs. The agency supports multiple PSEG programs, which have realized an estimated growth in business from $1.5 million in 1999 to $12.5 million in 2002. Some of the successful campaigns supported by Gráfica include WorryFree Appliance Service, SmartStart Buildings, Outdoor Lighting, Oil-to-Gas Conversion, Warm Advantage, Cool Advantage, New Jersey ENERGY STAR Homes, and Photovoltaic (electric-generating systems).
"Over the past three years, Gráfica has learned our business, recognized our needs, and offered innovative solutions every step of the way. Perhaps the greatest tribute of all is that they have earned our respect," stated Al Koeppe, PSE&G President and Chief Operating Officer, in his presentation of the award.
Accepting the award for Gráfica was the agency's Founder and President, Debra A. Taeschler, along with Jason Bacharach, Vice President of Marketing, and Julie Kein, Gráfica's PSE&G Account Supervisor.
"PSEG has always been a marquee client for Gráfica," said Taeschler. "Being recognized as a Supplier of Excellence for a company that I hold in such high esteem is an honor I cannot measure. I look forward to continued success, which stems from the way Gráfica and PSE&G work together as a team in the truest sense of the word."
