Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey Wins 2004 Web Marketing Award

Newark, New Jersey (November 8, 2004) The Web site for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) www.horizonblue.com has won a 2004 Web Marketing Award for Best Insurance Web Site. Designed and developed by GráficaGroup, Horizon BCBSNJ's Interactive Agency of Record, the Web site serves as the gateway to New Jersey's largest health insurer's vast array of online information and services. More than 200,000 visitors per month (including members, providers, benefits administrators, and Horizon BCBSNJ employees) navigate the site to use physician directories and benefits claim forms, view medical coverage, or obtain health and wellness advice.
The Web Marketing Association's WebAward Competition (www.webaward.org) recognizes the individual and team achievement of Web professionals who create and maintain outstanding corporate Web sites. Entries are judged by a panel of independent Internet experts in such areas as design, navigation, innovation, and usefulness to the target audience. The competition's judges include members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, content providers, and Webmasters.
